About us

Wildwood Family Farms was founded in 2002 by Justin and Kelly Heyboer. Their dream was to find an old house full of character, land where their children could run, and barns to fill with animals. Their house now holds a family of five, the land is used for planting flowers and vegetables, and the barns not only hold many animals, but serve as great places where people meet for weddings and other gatherings.

Kara is the primary author of this blog. She strives to feed her family good, local food and is excited to work with Wildwood Family Farms to educate others about a sustainable lifestyle and keep farm fans apprised of the happenings at the farm.
